OK, so the title is a slight exaggeration. I arrived during pouring rain and walked a mile to the hotel because I was pleased it wasn't ice. I can be that way.
Did you know that a young child can scream for 4 out of 4.5 hours on a train? I didn't know either, but I do now. So still, no sleep other than 2 hours for 2 nights.
But I am here safe and sound, in my hotel after a walk in the mall (since it was raining big time) and a lunch including two Stella Artois. I must hit the backspace key a lot to type.
Remo would call me a front seat passenger. But actually, I am in my hotel room getting settled. I thought you guys might like to know I arrived safely. The train station in Windsor opens at 5:15 am. I was there at 5 am. It was raining. Steadily. For the drive, for the train ride, and until just a few minutes ago. It's now almost 3 pm. I am tired of rain.
I think the only thing I forgot was my sunglasses.

I would see that as an opportunity to shop for new sunglasses while in Canada, but that's just ME. Stay dry!
