OCD or nest?

Just from casual observation, it seems to me that most of us who use our computers on a fairly regular basis keep the computer area in one of two ways.

1. You are OCD, and there is never a piece of paper or lint in the wrong spot. Once you see an errant thread, you grab that offender and file it under "t" in your trash containers.

2. You keep a nest. In the general area of your computer, you have pens, pencils, paper, post-its used and unused, some snacks, a drink of your choice and perhaps even a dirty glass or empty can or bottle, maybe some lotion or a nail file, reading glasses, spare shoes or slippers, a book or seven, a lot of pet hair if you have pets, a comb and/or brush, a phone and a place for your cell phone, plus maybe a decorative plant, real or plastic. A lamp, and a lot of little notes.

Am I close?

I am a nester. I admit it freely. My computer area is my sofa where I have a recliner. My feet go up, I lean back, and my laptop goes on my lap. Next to me is a small end table with my junk on it. Two beagles are at the other end of the sofa, sleeping.

I am ambidexterious in this area. ( I wish I had spell check)
I have a nest upstairs at the computer desk. Although there is no drinks or dirty dishes at the moment.

The laptop stays downstairs. And while it stays in the living room most of the time, I am OCD. Most things are in their place.

XOXO

What I've got here right now is a mess but I need all of it or think I do. Paula

Well mark me down as a nester but usually I am at the table.  Sometimes I sit on the sofa. My recliner is not comfortable... to big for me because I am short! Have a good week. Janie

I'm a nester.  I've got every inch of space covered.  The beagle is beside me and my cold drink is on the other side.  I have a least learned to set it on a little table next to the computer and not by it.  I lost one too many keyboards with drinks spilt on them.  'On Ya' - ma

I'm a nester!  I also always seem to have one of the cats walking over the keyboard while I'm typing. LOL

I have always been a nester.  Years ago when I was into cross-stitch instead of the computer I would get up from the sofa and you could see exactly where I had been sitting with a semi circle of items around me.  It drove my husband nuts and I had to put it all up at the end of every evening.
