Today I picked up my new patio set, thanks to the good work of my broker. It even fit in the Highlander. However, one of the boxes was 70 lbs, and I do live alone. I hope no one tells my physical therapist that yes, I did lift that box out of the car and store it into the garage until it stops raining and I can set it up on the patio.
Earlier this morning I sent an email to a fellow journaler who lives in a city where I will be going next summer, sending a heads up that I will be there. I almost said, "lunch will be on me," when I realized last time it was. It was literally on me. I was laughing too hard to even deal with the concept.
So let me rephrase that. I will be paying for lunch this time!
Pictures of new patio set should be following soon.

I'm like you...I just do what I have to do. I don't want to be told that I'm not physically able to do anything!! Be careful.
How wonderful to have an entire year to look forward to a j-land get together.
Planning lunch a year in advance? I can't make plans a month in advance. I'm impressed. Mrs. L
A year in advance? Dang...

Only you would have lunch literally on you!

I swear a day doesn't go by that I don't wear one of my meals on my front side somewhere.....E
I hope you put the lunch date on next years calendar. I wouldn't remember a lunch for next WEEK if I didn't write it down. LOL Pennie
HOw cool is that!?? A new patio set! I would do the same thing even though I am runt I still try and pick up stuff way to big/heavy for me. Send some rain this way....everytime a batch of rain hits Illinois it breaks up and fades away...::SIGH:::rose~!
What material did you choose for the patio furniture, wood or metal?

TWO neighborhood men watched me do it - I think they wanted to see if I could do it or not, lol...they are used to me doing things myself. I never ask for help.
