Biting off more than you can chew

I am using a bigger font today - is this a good thing or not?

The Wendy's finger thing disgusted me. Not because of anythig Wendy's did. The woman involved obviously didn't think ahead and bit off more than she could chew, so to speak.

Did she not realize that it is probably illegal to transport body parts of cadavers across state lines? I believe there are also laws about possession of cadaver parts? Disposal of body parts? Did she not think that they will have to find out where that finger came from? I, for one, am very curious as to how she got her hands on a finger.

Anyway, I always admired Wendy's chili. I think it is a healthy, low fat, low-priced fast food.

Even though it's very cold and has been snowing here all day, I plan to go to Wendy's and get some chili to show my support for their product.

After that, I will probably need a nap...and I hope to post some pictures today of my daughter's kitten, and maybe my latest trip.

xoxo

I have always loved Wendy's chili. Was it the fickle finger of fate for Wendy's? Anne

I think that the finger thing is pretty gross...but so was the KFC chicken head thing a while back too.....

I'm feeling silly today, and I agree with you, it wouldn't put me off of  their chilli, either.  I like this font you're using, Suzy!
If the woman planted the finger in the chilli for money, shouldn't the headline read, "Woman give Wendy's the finger" or  "No, Wendy's doesn't use Finger Bowls!"
Do you think that KFC will change their "finger lickin' good" slogan over this, lol, just kidding. Or maybe  "The food at Wendy's won't cost you an arm or a leg, just a finger!"   I guess they couldn't finger print the part that was found?
That's really sick what she did...

Hope all is well with you and yours!

Best wishes,
Debi

I've never had Wendy's chili, but there's a Wendy's less than a mile away. I think I might just go get me some. Right now. xoxo

Wow, that is the first positive thing I've ever heard about Wendy's chili... frankly, just seeing pictures of it on the news was nauseating me, but then again, they were always showing it alongside pictures of The Finger!  ;-) Albert
