My daughter is 25 and beautiful. She is also loud, disruptive, smokes, drinks, and stays up very, very late at night. She talks on the phone constantly and while skinny, walks as heavy as a rhino.
She also moved back in with me last night. :::shudder:::
There goes my privacy, security, peace, quiet, bathrooms, food, and socks. Someone throw me a safety line!
We have already argued over her being mean to my dogs, her telling me to have the cat put down because she gets loud at night, my house being cold at night, which bedroom she will take over, which bathroom she will take over, leaving wet towels on carpeting, why I don't want to move all my stuff into the basement, what things can't be left lying around for Molly the wild beagle to get into, why she can't move into the bedroom that is in the process of being painted, and having the television on while sleeping.
It will get better. She has a better left hook but I am faster.

And you love it. I was so happy when my daughter finally (than you God) moved out...but then I was so sad...for a long long time. Then she moved back in, very briefly and I was in heaven. I love being a mommy...sigh..(she is 24)
You you are loving it ;)

She's not a daughter, she's a tenant. Hand her a lease with a list of rules and regulations and ask for a pet deposit. Trust me on this one. Don't forget to include the 24-hour eviction clause for being an ungrateful wench.
Tacos Pescado, por favor, y dos cervezas!
Yikes. I can't imagine moving back with my parents... EEK! But, then, that's because mine would ask me to follow their rules. I like living by my rules & it never woud occur to me that if I lived under their roof, I'd get to set the rules. As much as they would like to have me live closer to them... I don't think they would want me THAT close :)
oh my Lord...........
I feel for ya, Suzy!
hugs,
Kathi
ooohhh...one more thing....If you can get her to be nice to the animals....there's your pet sitter for the next trip!

Kathi
LMAO....I live with my Mom, but I am the one who has lost my privacy.
Isn't it funny how all their annoying traits had to come from their father?
".......and while skinny, walks as heavy as a rhino."
"She has a better left hook but I am faster."
Oh Lord.... you could sell tickets for this! I wish you luck and blessings, if you get desperate we have a spot on the carpet in front of the fire....... no guest bed, but that spot by the fire might start to look mighty good:):) judi
Good luck Woman! Aieeee!

Oh my! I was left shuddering and shaking here at the thought of that happening to me! Keeping you in my thoughts and PRAYERS.

"25 and beautiful. She is also loud, disruptive, smokes, drinks, and stays up very, very late at night. She talks on the phone constantly and while skinny, walks as heavy as a rhino." They inherit looks from mother and personality from father.
"There goes my privacy, security, peace, quiet, bathrooms, food, and socks. Someone throw me a safety line!" I am here if you want to talk if that is considered a safety line.
Also remember to teach her pet rules.
Hugs,
Anita
