Box? What box?

A little obsession never hurt anyone, right? While I was washing down doors my mind was racing along, trying to visualize a small box that came with my sewing machine. Nothing at all was dredged up from the archives.

When something isn't working - take it apart. So, I went to the machine and looked at it. I looked at the case. There was no place for a hidden box. I had already gone that route, anyway.

I went for the obvious and flipped up the top on the machine. I had already done that once, but not with the same objective. This time, I was looking for hidden little parts.

Sure enough, up there, are 5 feet. They are nestled into the top of the machine, and easy enough to glance over. None are zipper feet, but I think one of them will do the job.

Of course, first I have to learn how to change the feet on this machine. They are nothing like the old ones.

Next hunt: The Manual (or continue to take things apart)

First: Feed the dogs, who worked up an appetite following me around looking for zipper feet!

I'd be lost, since I always throw directions away, or don't read them careful enough.  Rose

Yep! We must be related!! lol Usually I have to go to the first place I looked because I over looked it!! lol I am making comments while reading! SEE I told you, didn't I?? lol Manual... look where your warranties are... you know those things that you hardly ever need, that are filed in the file cabinet. lol Hope you find it before it finds you. lol Now, do you want to help me find the tiny key to the mop-ed that my husband is looking for? lol Have a good day. Are we related? I do the same thing it seems with everything. The amazing thing is generally I'm well organized, or so you would think. My patience never holds up  though, so inevitably on another day I'm doing the search all over again, until boredom or something else distracts me. Doc tends to know enough not to ask me what I'm looking for and to stay well out of earshot until I find what it is I want. Obsessive? Only when I make up my mind I want something. (Hugs) Indigo

I wonder if Martha Stewart ever has problems like that.  Yeah, probably not.  I had a zipper on my husband's jacket replaced.  $35!!  I shoulda had you do it :)

I got pretty confused before I figured out what kind of feet you were talking about! I hope you got everything fixed. I also like the timer idea from your last post - I use that all the time when I have a lot of jobs I don't want to do. It's hard to get motivated to jump into a long, boring, huge task unless I know I don't have to do it for long.

Obsessions are ok, lol, as long as you achieve the desired results. Otherwise, insanity is sure to follow!
