A pearl of wisdom:
If you are going to move your orthotics from one pair of shoes to another, it's a good idea to make sure you end up with both of them in the same pair of shoes.
Wearing one orthotic is not very comfortable for distance walking.
If it takes 6 miles to recognize the problem, is it something like one hand clapping?

Before I had my plantar fasciotomy surgery (cut the ligament so my heels no longer hurt, they cut slits in it along the length to lengthen it) I had a pair of custom orthotics. The shoe inserts that felt the best were a pair from Birkenstocks. The have the same foot bed as the sandles and are the only thing that felt good to me feet.
Even though I now have no pain. I use both pair (in the same pair of shoes) in my shoes so the trouble doesn't happen again. I had a podiatrist do the procedure. If you consider this be sure and ask them how many of those procedures they do a year....
Hope things get better. Have a wonderful week. Janie
good advice lol hope you are not hurting because of this :) have a good week

Hi Suzy: Did you make Ladies Learning Center private? None of my business of course but when I tried it just now I wasn't allowed access. Hope your day was good. Paula
