I found my "bug picture." I had sent it to someone and still had the email. I took this picture in the Catalina Mountains park off Oracle Road, (Myra? Is that Oro Valley?) the day we were there during a thunderstorm. That was the same day we went up to Kitt Peak. No wonder my ears and a few other body parts got crabby! I live at an altitude of approximately 200 feet above sea level, not that we have a sea here besides Lake Superior, which I have heard called an inland sea. I thought seas had salt water?

Its technically Oro Valley at Oracle Road, state land once inside the park. Isn't it beautiful??!! I love it up there. I haven't hiked in the fall or winter, but if you go in deep enough, you'll get to Romero Pools...and thats exactly what they are...pools! Absoluetly gorgeous. I believe if you go beyond the pools, you can connect into other trails that leads you to Mt. Lemmon! Not that I've tried it, but certainly worth the effort if you can. I'm too outta shape to even try, besides I'd probably get lost!! Very cool picture...why don't I ever see stuff like that??!!

Hmmmm That must be why we have so damn many bugs!!! lol Have a great Labor Day. Janie
Cool. I knew if I looked long enough I'd find someone who posted pictures of bug porn. You are my hero.

Too damn funny!
When I go to the mountains with my mom, my ears hurt so bad. Living at sea level for so long means my body is used to heavier air pressure.
