My 19-year-old cat is sitting here with me, purring. She is shaking her head just a tiny bit off and on, and her right eye doesn't seem to be opening fully. When I put my hand over her head, it stops. Still, I suspect she may be starting to seize.
This could be the end of a long era. Wiz has refused to take her medication for her hyperthyroidism and is down to under 7 lbs. She will take a pill now and then, but less than a third of what she should have.
I am not sure what to do - of course it is a Sunday night. She is so old; I will not allow any heroic efforts. I will stay here with her and see what happens.
I have been wrong before, and am willing to admit error this time. I hope I have to.

Oh no! Poor baby. I hope she will be alright but I agree with you, at that age I would let nature take it's course. Just stay close and be there for her ::sigh::
Thinking of you & Wiz...

Thinking of WIZ and you..........Anne
I hope Wiz is ok. I know she is old, and has had
a good life, but we can still hope for the best, right?
Sending you big hugs,
Connie
HUn, Wiz knows. I am sorry that you are suffering thru this. My Sebastian is 18 and time is getting close for him also. I know the pain of looking at him and wondering, is it time?.
Poor kitty. glad she is better.
Very sorry to hear about Wiz. Especially since she is supposed to be giving me my free cat scan LOL.
Pet her for me.
Love,
Stacy
As you know my dog trooper passed away last month. They are such faithful friends, especially when they get older, it only seems fair that we let them decided whether or not they take a pill or not. I am with you, keep them comfortable and love them! Like they do us! ~rose
Aww, I am really behind in my reading, poor Wiz.
hugs,
Kathi
