I know some of you feel sorry for people like me who live alone. I eat a lot of meals home alone, and cooking for one can be a chore. I often cook normal amounts and just eat them for a few days. I am good with that. Food to me is fuel, not a pleasure of its own, usually.
I am not one to eat out of a carryout container or a can right over the sink, though. I like to use a cloth place mat and cloth napkin. I have decent dishes and fairly new flatware. I do sometimes worry that I don't get enough variety in my diet, but probably I do just fine. Below is an example of one of my meals for one. I had to stand on the chair to get the whole plate in, but you get the idea, I am sure.

I am afeared that looks like something that lives at our exhibit at the Zoo. I used to love shellfish til I had some for friends...... I can still eat shrimp though...... what is that about?!?! :):):) judi

Shrimp is the only shellfish I'll eat.
And only if it's fried, or made into
Scampi! lol

I don't feel sorry for you at all! I lived alone for a good many years and it was great in so many ways. I think living alone gives you time to really form your identity.
PS: Your dinner looks awesome!
Where are your veggies? lol.
As Remo referred to you in his latest entry as "famously petite" I'd say you must be doing something right! I think you posted that picture to get us all drooling - it worked for me anyway! (BTW oh the luxury of cooking for one!!)

I eat that much waiting for the waiter to bring my first drink.
I would have thought you stayed in better hotels. I didn't know you could get crabs at the Marriott.
